I just went to the Piettia site and saw their new snub barreled Army's!
Looks like they are about 3 inchers!
Various finishes and grip shapes too!
Pretty cool that the company sees these posts and BINGO! a brand new model pops up for us to spend money on...
Hint: go to their site and click on "Galleries" to see em.

Those were called "Avenging Angels" back in the day.

They're not new. Pietta has listed them for years, and Cabelas sold the plain jane model a few years ago as did EMF.

Thanks for the quick replies guys!
Yea these AVenging Angels are new to me, I just got into BP about a year and 1/2 ago so I missed the inital release of them.
Piettia sure dosen't miss the chance to market every sort of Revolver eh?
I especially like my Piettia 5 1/2" Remington and Colt Policeq their size makes them fast handling andyet it dosen't rob too much power and velocity from the guns. Nices hooters!
I bet these Avenging Angels really have some muzzle flash! Not much tube to burn excess powder on them!

Hey ZVP

There are a pair of the Pietta 1860 snubbies for sale over on Gunbroker:

They're a little high though.

Yea Fingers, they are a little high priced for used guns!
I didn't know that Piettia had produced these models for a while being fairly new to the Hobby, this is the first tome I had seen them.
Do you know if most of the origonal guns were carried in Holsters or in the pocket?
The danger of pulling a Cap off while in the pocket, so it would be best to holster them.
Thanks for the reply!
