Tighten Safety on M&P 9c....?

I have an M&P 9c with a safety, which is quite easy to flick on and off. Noticably looser than a couple of other semi-autos I have. I'd like to tighten it a bit.

Is this something that I should be able to adjust myself (I'm not knowledgeable about gunsmithing stuff at all), can a gunsmith do it, or do I have to send it back to S&W?

If it's still under warrantee, send it back. Otherwise, have a smithy install a new one. Those parts need to be fitted.
