Hi Folks,
Just wanted to thank you all again for your help in making a decision on my first handgun.
I have now put approximately 800 rounds through the p239 and have not had a single failure of any sort. Well, I did have one, I had to induce a double chamber for a CCW class.
I replaced the stock grips with some rubber Hogue grips. I love the feel of the pistol even more.
Shooting is definitely getting better and becoming more and more fun as my groupings improve and the number of flyers reduce. A simple bit of instruction on trigger reset vastly improved my shooting.
Still flinch on occasion. Dry fire routines seem to be helping.
Once again, thanks! I am really glad I listened to you all and went and fired as many pistols as I did!
