anyone had a .40 super, seems to have the dimensions of a necked down 45 winchester magnum. anyone know what you can convert to it? any barrels out there for glocks??? help me out guys, thanks

Scroll down to the very bottom. The .40 Super is a necked down .45 Super casing. Other information is also mentioned.

The .40 Super case has the head dimensions of a .45, but the (longer) case length of 10mm.

It's a very oddball caliber. A buddy of mine was interested in it for a while, got a barrel for his Glock, and worked closely enough with Triton that they sent him some hundreds of rounds of their ammo for testing. I recall that feeding was a problem. I have one of the rounds on my ammo board.

The gun was a Glock, but I'll have to ask about the barrel.
