Ok, so I have a gen3 Glock 23 and I have a lasermax laser in it. I started having trouble with the laser not coming on like it should. It would be a dim non pulsing light, so I sent it back. This laser is about 4 years old so it is out of warrenty. Got an email from lasermax today and they said the diode is going out and is nonrepairable so they are sending it back. Now I know things go bad, but this is my ccw and nightstand gun and had the laser for my wife. I work swing shift and she knows how to use the laser and gun if she had to. What should I do? I really don't want to spend another $300 for another laser, but come on. This thing was never used, and the diode goes bad? Oh well, I guess I will just have one less accessory on my gun. Sorry kinda long, just kinda upset.

I put a lasermax in this one, so I could keep the grips. It's about 2 years old and never a problem. If it goes out, I wont replace it. It's only for use if your grounded and in a position you can't use iron sights.
