First post here! I just got a new Marlin 1894C and put a scope on it. great setup. When I tried to put the hammer spur on, it wouldn't fit! Any suggestions???

Make sure the little set-screw is loosened almost completely!!;) (if that don't work take the spur back to the shop where you purchased it and get the proper piece);)

Great little rifle. As it slicks up, you'll find yourself liking it more and more. Wonderfully fun for plinking and general woods carry, and useful for lots of shooting tasks. You can shoot it mild with .38 specials or wild with hot .357 magnum ammo. It's a wonderful little rifle.

I've had trouble with the hammer spur. I bought one that wouldn't fit, and learned to work around it. Too darn lazy to go back to the store, I guess.

Merry Christmas, and enjoy your rifle. It's a great one.

Love mine, but picky with .38s, .357s feed 100 precent though. Loading is stiff but i hope that smooths with time (just the tube loading, gun chambers sooooo smooth.)
