Please tell the the differences between the Beretta 84fs and the 85fs.

Thanks,

84FS is a 13+1 round double stack and the 85FS is an 8+1 round single stack. Otherwise they are identical.

You're the man! I looked at the Beretta website and that somehow escaped me.

Thanks,

I own and often carry the M85FS. Its a bit slimmer than the 84FS and with only holding 9 rounds is a bit lighter also. Its a nice pistol.

I've got the 86 which has the tip up barrel and really like that feature, it's really easy to clear. It also shoots great groups at 55 yards.

I have a 84 and it's simply a piece of art. Incredibly accurate and flawless in function. The only down is that it is large and heavy for a .380, kinda the Desert Eagle of .380s.

This thread needs a picture. :D
Personally, I'd rather compare the Beretta to a Colt 1911A1. The Colt being much larger and heavier than it needs to be, but neither gun designed as the smallest or lightest, or as a pocket pistol. Both guns perhaps the best size and shape made... that's how I look at it. Perfection in my hand.

I took this picture awhile back to show the size reference to a larger gun.

The .380 in a larger package can't really be compared to a smaller mouse gun, the kick is way more controlled and it is super accurate.
