Trophy Match Problems

I bought a Springfiled 1911 Trophy Match this week. I took it out to shoot today and it failed to eject about 60 percent of the time. The extractor would hold onto the empty case and not eject. It also had trouble locking back on an empty magazine. I tried 3 different types of magazines and different brands of ammo. Whats the deal here? I bought a very expensive semi auto that is a single shot. On a side note it is an incredibly accurate pistol. What should I do? Send it back to springfield and have them fix it? Anyone have any idea what the problem is? I think the extractor is too tight or out of spec

Did you clean and grease rails, etc. My Springfield was very tight at beginning, lots of lube and a couple hundred rounds turned it into a reliable tack driver.

I cleaned and oiled the pistol before taking it out and shooting it. It was incredibly accurate but it just wouldn't extract, im not sure what I could have been doing wrong with it...
