I have owned a 9mm SIG P 250 compact for a couple of months now, and discovered that mine has an odd problem. It has functioned perfectly with several different loads of regular 9mm, various bullet shapes and weights.
But it has malfunctioned badly with Cor-Bon 115 gr. JHP + P, and has also malfunctioned with Magtech 115 gr. JHP + P. All malfunctions have been "double feeds," with the spent cartridge case getting caught on the nose of the next cartridge up, and not making it out of the chamber.
Usually double feeds are a problem with the extractor, but the extractor works fine with regular 9mm. Could it be that the P 250 extractor design is marginal, and doesn't catch the cartridge firmly enough to pull it out consistently under the extra force of + P recoil? Any one else have this problem?
