i was wondering if these were any good?, i have friend who has two for sale. he is getting a in the waist band holster for his p95 and offered me his two uncle mikes kydex belt hosters. one he has used for about 2 months the other is still new in box. he has offered me both for just $15 so to put that on another holster for conceal carry. i have a fobus for my p95 but don't know much about uncle mikes. thanks for any help.

My experience is that all kydex is not equal. Even supposed identical ones.
You have to try each holster with the gun you are going to use and see if it works. My wife just bought a fobus for her glock 19 she could not pull it out once it locked in with both hands. I have one that just clicks in and out.
I much prefer the ones that have the adjusting screw.

these do have the adjustment screw for tension, so they would be better right? thanks

I have several and like them a lot. They're accurately molded and sturdy. Good stuff.

Buy (I use a rightie and leftie for my 1911s; paid $20 for both, used).

I like Uncle Mikes better than Fobus. The material seems more durable to me.
I have the standard, open-top, paddle holster. It's good for competitions, but a bit bulky for concealed carry.

There is a difference between kydex and other polymers.
Fobus does not claim their holsters are kydex. Maybe that's why so many people complain that Fobus holsters do not perform like kydex holsters - because Fobus does not use kydex.
