I have a Taurus PT101.

Despite what any say about Taurus it is functionally a good pistol, I have put about 700rds through it without a single hiccup. And once the sights are familiar it is fairly accurate.

But I have been considering a Beretta Cx4 carbine. I already have clips and ammo in .40 cal.

Will the clips for a Beretta cx4 fit a taurus 101 and vice versa?

It is damn near a identical pistol to a Beretta 96 and I think the clips will interchange with a 96, or am I mistaken?

Anybody here Know?

According to Beretta's website, the .40 S&W version of the Cx4 carbine will only interchange with the .40 S&W Px4 Storm handgun.

The 9mm Cx4 Storm is available in two versions -- one that will interchange magazines with the 9mm Px4 Storm, and one that will interchange magazines with the 92 series.

I'm pretty sure there is a CX4 that used 96 .40mags.

and to answer the original question mags are almost the same but the magazine release cut out is different. you can mod them to unless you have a dozen mags for your PT101 just get new Beretta mags.
