G19 RTF2. I sanded the grips down a little, installed Warren Tactical Two-Dots, Vickers Mag Release, G17 smooth trigger, Ghost 3.5 connector, and NY1 trigger spring.

I love this thing! I just ordered another NY1 for my other G19 at which point both will be exactly the same except for the grip texture.

I just posted this early today, but since I am my most favorite subject, and you asked what my most recent purchase was....I bought this yesterday

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v441/Chuck_Older/mk4s70a.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v441/Chuck_Older/mk4s70b.jpg

I don't know what marred the slide on the right side, but I'll probably be sending the slide to Colt for a refinish. Frame is about 95% as good as brand new, I assume the previous owner left it sitting on it's right side in a sock drawer or something for a few years. Barrel bore looks brand new but shows wear-in from the collet-type barrel bushing it used to have. I think that a scenario of an older gentleman who liked to shoot but was somewhat neglectful of his pistols could be likely as the previous owner. The pistol was as filthy as I'd ever like to see! Obviously I'd cleaned it for the photos

All you need is a place to host the photo

I like www.photobucket.com

It's free. You upload right from your PC, just tell photobucket where to find the photo and which one. On this forum, to post the photo, you'd just need to copy and paste the image address that begins with 'img' that would be listed under the photo in your photobucket album

Great gun....Do you have the mag safety? (i have one where the chambered round WILL shoot without an inserted mag and one that WILL NOT fire the chambered round without an inserted mag)

What will you be usuing yours for? Carry/HD/Range???

southcali-i have the one that WILL fire without the mag in. I will use it for all three. I am not a cop but I live in AZ so I can carry and it looks like they are going to push throgh the new law where you don't have to have a permit to carry concealed. I come from a law enforcement family, my dad was a SO back in Kansas many years ago and my father in law is a current SO here in AZ and was actually until a year and a half a go the armorer and lead instructor for the MCSO so I know my way around guns just a little bit:D

southcali-i did, born and raised in central cali-just moved here a year ago,LOVE IT,won't go back, I love having at least 10 ranges I can go to within 30 minutes of my house, the one i frequent lets you shoot all day for 7 bucks. I go out with my father in law to the MCSO range and to the civilian range with my wife and buddies. When i first got here and walked into a gun shop the guys working there welcomed me with open arms and have been very very helpful and it's so cool to see all the stuff that i can purchase here that i couldnt even "see" in Cali.

southcali-well i lived in california for 36 years, i am now 37. I lived 2 hours away from the beach and 2 from the mountains and there is nothing like fish and chips from Pismo fish and chips co. and hanging out at the beach, that's why I go back and visit. But as far as stuff that I like to actually do on a daily basis, there is more here for me and I was able to get a really good job really quickly and it's so much cheaper to live here. Also,if i want to see snow I can drive a little under 3 hours to flagstaff and visit more gun shops up there:D

I just got in really deep with her over the AR-15 I just got, so posting another gun might just put her over the top if she sees it.

European Arms Single Action .22 revolver. I just bought this EASA Revolver from a close friend for $100. She just bought a new house and needed some extra cash, so she sold a few of her non-prime guns for some quick cash. It has interchangable cylinders for .22 LR or .22 HMR. It shoots on point.
When she has the change and if she ever wants it back, she can get it back for the original $100
http://i671.photobucket.com/albums/vv72/gearchecker/just%20stuff/100_0918.jpg

I'll post the pic of the AR it's only 3 weeks old. It's close to the last one I bought, It'll do.
DPMS 5.56 AR-15 Carbine. I changed out the original A4 flattop upper (just the upper handle part) with a new A2 upper, added the rails and BUIS in front.
It's all 100% new and unfired so far. I kept all the original parts in case I want to go back to a flattop build

I got the diamondback on the right, 4 in - mint, the commander in nickel and the MKIII National Match in 38 special on Saturday(the colt mustang I already had), all 3 for $1000.They are all in the box and the commander is unfired. I'm wondering if I should have shopped around more. I'm having some buyers remorse but it'll pass, it usually does....

http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww332/357SandW/GEDC0222.jpg

I switched the grips from the commander to the national match because every picture I see of the MKIII National Match has checkered Colt grips with gold medallions. I think now they both look better.

@ losijon and socali,

I just moved away from cali last October to Oregon. I got my new Oregon drivers license the other day. Walked into the local gun store, asked the clerk how long the waiting period was to buy a gun. He said about 30 seconds. I just stared at him and blinked.

I grew up in Santa Ynez, but you can't pay me to go back to that stupid state. Even with my law enforcement credentials it still took 10 damn days to get a firearm in California. Oregon does the same background check Cali does, it only takes a moment.

Ricklin-actually the summer here is not as bad as where i came from.where i am from it regularly got over 100 degress with a lot of humidity, here at least it's dry and it actually feels cooler.
