Hello.

A friend is considering buying this FN 1922 (1910/22) pistol, 7.65mm caliber.
As you can see it is nickel with golden trigger. Do you believe this is original finish? Is it rare, high value?

Appreciate your help.
Ignacio

The plating is not original, and not very well done. This is a nice gun, but not rare or collectible.

In nice shape, the Model 1922 can bring $400+. I have no idea what that gun looked like before being buffed and plated, but the result of the "beautification" was a $100 gun, at best.

I would not pay more than $200 for that gun. Its a rather common gun and its fairly obvious it was re plated. Any factory nickel gun with a factory gold plated trigger would not have standard grips. It also would have other parts gold plated. In its condition, its just a shooter. This model is quite common so I say hold out for a good one.
