MOA

I thought that MOA was say 1" @ 100, 2" @ 200, and 4" @ 300. I saw on a thread that it was 1",2",3". I thought it doubled.

MOA is linear.

Approximately 1.047 inches at 100 yards. 2.1 inches at 200.....10.47 inches at 1000 yards.

Most people say 1 at 100, 2 at 200.... close enough.

Well, as distance doubles the group size will double. 200 yards is twice 100 yards, but 300 is not double 200. Only 1 1/2 times as far.
