Went to the range last Saturday and shot my Ruger 944. I was real pleased. The 1st pull is somewhat heavy, but the following 9 are light and short. 100 rds w no jams and no FTF's. Cleaned it and took this pic.

I looked at the Ruger P944 the other day. It feels good in the hand and being a Ruger It's over built and reliable. It's one of the three Rugers I don't have However I do have a P94 9mm that I really like. Ruger durable/reliable and built in the U.S. with a life time warranty thats affordable. :D

Congratulations! It seems a lot of the Ruger semi-autos are overlooked by many people but I've always thought they had a certain charm - as in going 'bang' every time you squeeze the trigger. They're not the prettiest gun out there but they get the job done! I have a P95 which has been utterly reliable as well and it simply doesn't care what you feed it. A P94 would always be a welcome addition to the stable. :D

You're right. 100 rds was a tease. Can't wait to shoot it again.
