I am new to this site and i have alot of questions about a rifle I have. The history is this rifle was brought back from the vietnam war. It was leaning out of a shack window and when my uncles squad came upon it they were unsure if it was occupied so they opened fire for a matter of minutes moving in to find the shack was abandoned and had weapons and such inside. He saw this and was able to get it home how i have no idea. The rifel looks like a 1960 chinese type 53 rifle but ive seen picks of those and it only has certain comparisons. I'd really like to find out what it is and if it possible to shoot its a bit raggy looking but i would like to fix it up and shoot it or see if its worth anything.
