Conversion for XDM 40

I have a few questions:

Has anyone bought a 9mm barrel to convert the XDM 40?

Is it as easy as just dropping in a new 9mm barrel and getting 9mm mags?

How did it affect operation when firing?

Where did you get your 9mm barrel from?

I have purchased a 9mm Conversion barrel for my XDM .40. I purchased it from EFK Fire Dragon in Arizona. There are other sources for the barrels-just Google "conversion barrels for XDM". It is a drop-in barrel. You will need 9mm mags-they work better than the .40 Mags which I understand can be used. In addition to the conversion barrel I would also purchase a set of springs from Wolff Springs to use for both your XDM .40 and now XDM 9mm.

I just went to EFK Fire Dragon in Arizona website. By the looks of it $154.99 for the barrel, two mags at $35.00 a piece and new spring $5.99. If you go to Wolff Springs $7.89 for the spring. Something to definitely think about. Thanks for the info.
