Looking at Crimson Trace and Laser Max, any other suggestions?

I am looking at the internal sights from LaserMax, but it is a bit pricey
($340.00). LaserLyte also makes some that you could look at.

Get one that's adjustable for windage and elevation.

I've heard of a fair amount of battering and failure with any of the guide rod lasers... and not simply the laser quitting, but taking the pistol out of action with it. I would use one as a range toy, but not for defense. (caveat for loudmouth posters who spent their $289 on one and can't stand when someone criticizes: NO I don't have one and spare me your crying about my opinion.)

Laserlyte, I think that's their name is coming out with a laser that's entirely contained at the rear sight so it doesn't affect holsters. That might be an option. Not sure if it's available yet.

As far as I know, Crimson Trace (probably the industry leader) doesn't make a model for the G30. (I have a G29, similar in size) I could be mistaken, but I think they haven't built one for our fatties yet.
