Hi everyone, this is a little Burris AR pivot ring that the company appears to be having problems with.

Does anyone know of a similar optic mount? The idea would be to mount a 3x Burris AR332 and flip on the ring and go iron sights at close range.

Ideas???

Thanks dudes and gals!

Although I don't see how you can attach either one to the AR-332.

Would it mount around the sight where the Pic rails are now?

zoomie, you're right, dumb thought.

Anyway, I have three glass options that i am looking at right now. I have a friend who is a Burris sales rep, so I can get a great proce on any burris gear I want. So, torn between these three:

and, last resort...

The XTR tactical is my number 1 because it gives options, but might be priced a little high.

Tough thing is, I want magnification, but don't want to be stuck without a 1x option. That kind of rules out the 332, and the 135. Oh well, might just have to cough a little more up for the combo scope/red dot on the upper rail system!

Sounds like you want the XTR-14. I'd save a few more pennies and get what you want instead of settling to save what will seem insignificant soon after the purchase.

You might also look at this to put behind the 135: http://stores.homestead.com/Laruetactical/Detail.bok?no=170
You'd be somewhat of a guinea pig, because I don't know if that pair has been tried.

It's called a "PoBoy" and it's their clone of an Aimpoint or EoTech magnifier. The mount alone is $150, so you're getting the glass for next to nothing (at least compared to the real Aimpoint or EoTech optic.)

Or Burris also makes the Tripler that you'd need a mount for. Haven't seen it used, but might be worth a try.
