Quite a few firearms for an estate sale. Sharps 45/70 that might go for a steal.

I think someone thought the "3" of "MODEL 1873" on a Trapdoor Springfield breech block was an "8", common mistake. Then a typo, they meant "1878" but typed "1978".

Happens a lot.
