To stay on topic, I'll answer the original question.

No. I don't have one.

But I would like to have one. The price is a bit much.

I have an after-market product being created in my brain right this minute.

It is a clamp on accessory that gives a better forward handgrip, and prevents the need to stick the supporting hand thumb into the trigger guard. The thumb gets much too close to the trigger for my liking.

The new design clamps around the protective edge that keeps your supporting hand from slipping close to the muzzle on the original barrel length. Since most Americans will not be buying that original barrel lenth, the protective edge is not of any use. It is almost the right size and shape to be a fore-grip.

Clamp on a new fore-grip (vertical or otherwise) around that protective edge and the gun will handle better and be safer.

So if you manufacture this gun goody that I told you about, be sure to send me my share of the profits.

you can buy a quad rail that mounts on the front of the gun that you can put a forend grip on.. but that is like 500 to 700 just for the rail... if you can find one in stock.. dont look like ill be getting one of those anytime soon

If they made one in 9x19mm or 7.62Tokarev, I'd get two.

5.7 just isn't my cup of tea. By the numbers, it's not much more than a .22 mag. 40gr bullet at 2150fps vs. 40gr bullet at 1910fps.

Not everyone likes bourbon either. Congrats on the new hardware.

Have one and it's a great little carbine to have when you need a bit more than your average handgun. I haven't had any problems with reliability, nor accuracy. It puts 5.7 holes in things up to 50 yards away as quickly as I can get the dot back on target.

Does your have the "White RingSight" (pale translucent white) or the "USG Black RingSight" which has black stadia rings?

I don't have the carbine, but I do have the pistol... I also just built a 10" 5.7 X 28 Contender barrel... I like little cartridges ( as well a big ones  )... but the 5.7 has been a tough one for me to get going on ( as far as reloading )... my dies ( Redding ) needed some "work" before they were servicable... I had to machine off a little off both the top & the bottom of the die to get the proper cartridge dimensions... my 1st shell holder ( I think Lee ) was too loose, & caused damage to the tiny rim during sizing, as well as caused the case to tip slightly during bullet seating... my 2nd shell holder ( RCBS ) seems to work better...

the blow back action on th FN 5.7's moves the shoulder of the case forward during firing, nearly an 1/8", & they expand quite a bit... coupled with the laquer coating on the cases, ( & my poor 1st shell holder ) resulted in a stuck case in my sizing die... all told, I've gotten the bugs out of my system, & am rolling my own pretty good right now in my single stage press... I'd expect lots more bugs to rear thier heads if trying to use a progressive reloader, as the cases stretch alot before / durig sizing, & I made a special trim die using my chamber reamer I bought to build the Contender barrel... I'd also expect case life would be short with moving the shoulder back & forth each firing...

Have you checked out the Five seveN forum ??? it's dedicated to the 5.7 X 28 cartridge, & the FN guns

I'll second the 7.62x25 Tok idea. That would be sweet--just as fun and far more functional. You could get some pretty good penetration from a 90 gr FMJ at those velocities, and unlike most available 5.7 ammo, bullets suitable for personal defense actually exist for the little Tok cartridge.

Until then, the PS90 seems interesting and is certainly fun, but it serves no legitimate purpose that I can tell that would justify its cost. If you have the money to spend on an expensive plinker with no real utility beyond paper and cans, more power to ya. I do not.

It's a shame too because with all the effort FN has put forth to provide civilian legal versions of their military rifles to the American market, I would love to be able to support them. Unfortunately, none of their products really appeal enough to me to drop that kind of money into them.

Maybe if the SCAR-H had made it to the market before I had my M1A...

Anyways, congrats on your new purchase. It makes your wheels go round, and that is all that matters.

Get a suppressor on it. A real one, not a fake one. Fakes are stupid, but a good YHM or AAC (or Freakshow Manufacturing, for that matter...he's a really cool guy and good smith) really adds meaning and purpose to that platform.

gob... check Accurate & Ramshot load data ( the only published powder manufacturer data that I know of ), but I've found a couple on line sources for 5.7 reciepes, for other powders... but AA#7 & Ramshot Trueblue seem like the 2 best powders for use in the blowback operated FN's... for use in the single shot Contender, some of the slower powders look like just as good an option

here are a couple links you may find interesting...

The 7.62 T would be interesting, but it design intentions completely intentionally exclude these calibers...justifiably so.

"22 Mag"...Recent test with recent hi-performance ammo makes this comparison a bit misleading...maybe even more so out of 4-5" handgun.
