Are there any magazines without the plastic thing on the bottom like the 1911 style mags with the plate at the bottom? it would be for a glock 19

If there were no "plastic thing" on the bottom of the Glock mags, the spring/follower and ammo would fall to the floor, no?

Yes, as far as I know, there is no other option for floorplates. The only thing that comes to mind is finger extensions and +2 base plates, but they are essentially the same thing as the original.
