Well I have decided to get the 10FCP. I just have fell in love with the triggers and and 1:10 twist is an advantage over the other rifles. Now here is my demila, which stock? I like the looks of both stocks. But I have felt neither and I might not be able to becasue I am going to order the gun from my dealer back in KY (I am stationed at Camp Lejeuene NC). I know I can get the 10FCP Mchilan A5 for $852, my delar didnt have the HS in so he would have to order that, it would be chaper then the A5. But I heard that the HS is ready to go out of the box, and the A5 I would have to do glass bedding. How much would that cost and do I HAVE to do it. THanks for all the help it has be much appriated for a Machine Gunner learning aobut precision rifles!!

Why don't you just order the new Accustock 10FCP from Savage and give it a try out of the box. Who knows you might like it better than the HS or McMillan stock.

McMillan or an Accustock. I wouldn't buy any product with an HS stock.

Last year I bought a model 12 with the synthetic stock in 22-250-
It is one of the best shooting guns-out of the box- that I have ever shot-
Savage is alot of gun for the money spent!!!!
