Hi I'm new to the forum and recently bought my first semiauto a Sig P226 9mm well its my second I do have a S/W .22
My question is I have normal size hands with short fingers. I put on a set of Hogue grip on my S/W 686 revolver which made the grip a little smaller. If I put Did the same for the Sig would it have the same effect? Or does anyone have any suggestions? Or a good gun shop in my area? I haven't found a overly friendly one yet kinda just gun snobs.

Congratulations on your new pistol! The P226 is truly one of SIG's classics. From what you said about your hand size, the Hogue fingerless grip panels may work out well for you. I've got them on most of my Sigs and can't really tell any difference in size between them and the factory plastic. You probably wouldn't want the ones with finger grooves as they're certainly larger than the factory grips. It's going to be hard to find aftermarket grips that would be smaller than the factory plastic.
