GSSF Match in Reno, NV, on May 9th & 10th

Hey guys and gals,

Our local club, WNPL (http://www.wnpl.org), just got approval from Glock to put on a GSSF match in May. For those of you unfamiliar with GSSF matches, they are short, sweet, and sponsored by Glock. I will be meeting with the Silver Legacy Casino (http://www.silverlegacyreno.com/) next week to try and obtain a group discount rate for any competitors traveling in from out of the area. We are not on the GSSF website schedule yet, we just got approved last week so look for that to change shortly.

One of my coworkers won a pistol from GSSF at his first match.

For those who don't know about GSSF, not only do they give away pistols as skill prizes*, they also award pistols* randomly to participants. So you have a chance to win a prize even if you come in dead last.

*The awards are based on match attendance, so it is possible in a very small match the random awards might not include pistols. For example, my wife won a random prize at a small GSSF match and due to the low attendance at that particular match it was a Glock knife rather than a pistol.
