I am looking at buying an a5 made in 1987 or a new in box bps (year?).any suggestions? main use will be deer hunting and small game. have a line on slug barrel for bps. $550 for a5 and $525 for bps combo. little concerned about stocks on a5 cracking. still a problem with jap guns?
