Most of them are SAO but there are a few DAO.

Picking nits, but the double action ones shown are only based on 1911s.

1911s are single action.

A true 1911 and what the majority of people refer to as such is a single action pistol.

Single action: hammer must be cocked before each shot; the 1911 pistol does this automatically. Short, light triggers are the norm here, requiring the use of a manual (usually thumb operated) safety to carry the pistol in a ready condition.

Double action: hammer is cocked and released solely by the trigger being pulled. Long and heavy triggers are the norm here. No manual safeties required (some have them though) in order to safe the pistol, as the trigger requires a good amount of effort to actuate anyhow.

The JMB design for 1911 was single action....period.
