Removing S&W 41 rear sight

Can anyone tell me how to remove the rear sight on the S&W 41? I want to attach a weaver base and a Matchdot sight.

I chose to buy a second 5 1/2" M41 heavy barrel without sights from Gil Hebard for $155. Mounted a scope on the new barrel. Now I can switch from iron sights barrel to scoped barrel in just a few seconds and without having to resight the gun.

I ended up buying a new barrel from S&W so I could quickly swap between iron sights and red dot sights as suggested.

One thing though: It turns out that you don't have to remove the sights to install a weaver rail and sights to a Smith 41.
