I have a new Taurus 845 that I am taking to get plated today. Does anyone know how to disassemble the slide for this gun?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Does it have the take down lever like the 24/7? If there are 3 levers on the side of ther 24/7 first is the take down 2nd is the slide stop and 3rd is the safety.
Have you fired the 845 yet?

thanks for the instructions, those did help. Nice pics and everything. I have shot the 845 and i got to tell you it is a bigger gun then my 24/7 but man it shoots like a Sig with Glock easy breakdown . I took it up to the range yesterday and let the owner shoot it (who is lives and breaths Sig) and he told me that he was ordering one for himself. I use it for concealed carry only OWB with a jacket but the trigger and accuracy can only be beat maybe by the Taurus 1911. It is the nicest Taurus gun I own, and I own 7 of them all in .45 and one PT111 (my wife's CC) in 9mm.
