Sorry I couldn't help but make a thread about my lust for my remington 870. It functions flawlessly, looks good, and is very versatile. With so many different setups and add-ons, could this be the perfect pump shotgun?
Here are my different setups for my 12ga 870.

Is the blackberry an important part of your arsenal? :D

What kind of treatment/finish is on your gun? My dad was gonna do me a favor and clean mine, used some cleaner that said do not use on guns, then tried to refinish it since he stripped parts bare with the cleaner

So now my 870 that had a little tiny, tiney bit of corrosion on the barrel that some Hoppes would have taken right of is multi-colored, do it your self blueing finish.

I need to get it refinished and am looking for a durable finish. Don't want to spend a bunch of cash cause it is a do it all farm gun

Thanks

The finish on my 12ga is a "Military Style" powder coat finish from remington. I think it stinks and am thinking of getting it refinished. It chipped on the barrel from putting a snap-on fiber optic sight on the front of the barrel. The thing was plastic. It shouldnt have chipped that easily. It also just looks like it wasn't put on well.

This may be the top shotgun in the market. Its affordable, works, and is made by one of the most reknown companies in the world. It has to be on the top ten list of recreational firearms.

And btw yours is lookin' pretty damn sweet.

My 870 is just setup for slaying deer. I sold the bird barrel because I have two other guns for birds/clays and my scope is mounted to the gun(no cantilever barrel). Nothin fancy but I like it. Maybe I'll post pics later.

I started with an 870 and before long it got traded for a BPS. Went from that to an auto loader and then to a Benelli nova.

Wanted to pick my wife up an inexpensive gun to dove hunt with and bought an 870 express. Couldn't believe how good it felt. Wasn't but a month and i'd bought myself another. Great shotgun..J.R.
