In the process of converting my Saiga and have everything done but the furniture. I'm leaving the original forend and I have the side folding stock I want on it's way, all I need now is the pistol grip. The original AK grips have always been too narrow for me but the SAW style grips are too fat for me. Is there something in the middle? I'd prefer a rubberized type (like the Hogues) but I haven't seen any. What AK grips work best for yall? Thanks

BTW: Good little writeup on converting your Saiga (not mine but what I went off of) http://www.cross-conn.com/Saiga_Conversion/Step_1.htm

Have you considered the AK to AR-grip adapter?

There are tons of 'ergo' grips on the market for the Saiga conversions. I looked very closely at a few but finally settled on the SAW grip for mine. Why? Sturdy, very ergonomic and it just looks like it belongs on the gun. Also keep in mind some will put the web of your hand lower on the grip.

The Israeli-made CAA grip looks very nice but I would have needed another USA made part to comply with 922.
