Friend of mine in AZ is looking to get an AR and I wonder, what's the accuracy of 9mm ARs like? It would be a great companion to his G19. The Rock River models are showing on their site with a 16" chrome lined barrel 1:10 twist. Would this type of caliber/platform give you 100-150 yards with good groups?

I haven't shot for group size with mine (BM lower, 16" Colt upper), but I know it will consistently knock down 9" plates at 100 yards with a red dot.

Many thanks! I believe that my pal has decided to get a RRA .223/5.56mm complete rifle due to ammo issues and the fact that there's not a lot of 'Evil Black Rifles' around just now, the buying frenzy re; January the 20th reaching it's fever pitch!
