Does the new Mill Pro pt745 (and pt145) guns have a striker that is fully cocked, then released when trigger is pulled? Or, is the striker partially cocked (when slide racked) then relies on the trigger to complete the cocking? I beleive the glock has this kind of setup, but wasnt sure about the PT745. Also, are the Kahrs, m&ps, XD's the same striker setups? I just wondered if any of these types were safer than others? Back to the taurus pt745. It has a manual safety, but didnt know if the striker mechanism is less safe than my XD9, disregarding the manual safety (PT) and the grip safety on the xd, while carrying with a round in the chamber? Does this make sense?
