My father got freaked about the election and bought a Armalite Ar10 T in 338 Federal. He paid a pretty penny for this thing. I need to help him out and get brass and load data for this thing for his birthday. You guys know bettern most. What loads have worked for this thing? I was thinking something using H335 powder . How effective is necking up 308 brass actually?? Any comments on this gun?? He is one of those guys who never wants to run a factory round ever through his prized guns. I do the same with my Ar30. Itll be here next week for the Christening!! How about a good supply of mags??

Select "rifle", then select "338 Federal". Lots of load data.

Speer has a short stack...

For the handloader, the .338 Federal is an easy cartridge to reload--either with factory .338 Federal brass or reformed .308 Winchester. brass. If .308 brass is used, nothing more than a quick pass through a .338 Federal full-length sizer is needed. Trim to 2.00-inch length to square up the case mouth and it's ready to go. If military brass is used, it's a good idea to start the loads 10 percent under because of the difference in inside case dimensions.

Please note... the last one (above in quotes) is a magazine... LOL
