I have a chance to buy a Winchester 94 Trapper with a large loop lever chambered in .32 W.S. The gun is unfired as far as I can tell. It has engraving on the receiver and walnut stocks (still has the "walnut" sticker on it like they put on them in the 70's 80's. Are these guns worth anything or does the .32 W.S kill it?

My brother bought one last year used from a pawn shop. It's a dandy shooter but there isn't a wide variety of bullet available. He give $350.00 out the door and it's in decent condition which is less than the one you're looking at. The blue was probably 90% and the wood about the same. Bore was shiny and looked like the rifle had been carried but not shot much. It's his truck gun so it has seen some licks now and has a few rust spots but still shoots great.

I like the 32 W.S. over the 30-30 myself, and with the new Hornady Leverevolution ammo for hunting how can you go wrong.
