I'm doing the happy dance... getting an HK45 for $755 (http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=105523982) (plus shipping and transfer). :D Somehow this makes me feel a bit better about paying so much for a polymer gun. I wonder if the shop made any money at all from this sale...
Of course, now I have another problem: the HK45 has polygonal rifling, but all my .45 ACP reloads have cast bullets. :o

How much is the shipping and transfer?
If its $50 for shipping, and $25 for transer, then you got the gun for $830. I just got one for $850 at my local store, and got to inspect it of course before purchase.
Its a great gun. You will love it.

How much did you pay in tax, and I'll bet an FFL can ship for about $25, because they do not have to ship over night?
So NobodySpecial. Congratulations on making me very jealous. This is the handgun I want.

It's DA/SA. Nice isn't it?

Shipping and transfer will be $55, so the total will be $810. Still a lot less than I could find anywhere else... $126 less than if I had ordered one from Buds.

Bought it out of state...

It functions just like an H&K USP. The trigger group can be swapped out for a variety of options; this one is the standard (variant 1). There is both a safety and a decocker so it can be carried da/sa or cocked & locked in single action only.

Plus, you are not paying local and state taxes, assuming you are not living in the same state of the selling FFL.
