XD-9 Sub compact

I just bought one, new. Fired 26 rounds, 10 in one mag. 16 in the other. I am very happy with it, nice feel, easy operation, light and very easy to field strip. I look forward to shooting it more. Any body else here have one? Any problems I should look for? Thanks, J2.

No problems with my XDSC40 with about 600 rounds through it. My dad owns one and its a real lemon. Jams constantly about every other mag.

I have several XDs. The compact shoots very reliable and accuracy is great. The problem with the jams maybe grip or "limp wristing". Try concentrating on a good strong grip. My son starts getting jams as he tires. Just a thought.

+1 on the grip causing jamming. My son shoots my P95, and it jams all the time but I can run clip after clip through it with no problems. Of course he's 10, and the recoil is a bit much for him, but he's getting there. Auto feeders are all temperamental.
