I went to a gun show last weekend and missed out on what I thought to be a deal. The seller was asking about a $100 for a scope almost exactly like this one http://www.impactguns.com/store/IOR-3X25QR-TS.html I regret not buying it but does anyone know where I could find one like this but for $500 cheaper?

Haven't you had enough of cheap stuff not working up to your expectations?

You're going to put a $100 knock-off scope on top of your Stag upper and lower that don't fit properly (because you didn't pay to have them fitted as a complete rifle), complain that it doesn't retain zero or that the rifle only shoots 5 MOA rather than the sub-MOA you would prefer.

And we're all going to remind you that in guns as in all other aspects of life, you get what you pay for.

Cheap scopes are... cheap. For a reason. If you stick with a $100 scope budget, you'll buy 3 or more before you learn that quality only hurts the wallet once, whereas cheap stuff keeps on coming back to bite you.

Yes I want a cheap scope, no I did not buy a cheap rifle, I just ordered it improperly. BTW now that you are bringing up my mistake, I went to our local gun shop and picked up several different AR-15s new and used, and non of them rattles like mine did, sure some moved a bit but not like mine. So I think mine is exceptionally lose.

Same vendor... Barska Electro Sight. $85.

Not identical, but similar principle. Low magnification, range finding reticle, 1/4 MOA adjustment turrets.

I'd expect it to rattle loose by the second shooting session though.

Maybe you can try this as your second attempt:

Only $50. And it's "rubber armored!"

Lots of cheap options out there to burn through before you decide to get one that actually works.

I can't seem to see the pics on the link you posted, but this (http://www.vectoroptics.com/Saturn-0910.pdf) maybe something along the lines of what you're looking for. I actually handled one at a gun show this past weekend, and it looks and feels like a quality scope, and is also a FFP reticle. I didn't have any extra cash at the time, or might consider giving one a try, the asking price was $160. I read some of the reviews of them at ar15.com, they seem to think these are very close cousins of the Counter Sniper scopes, but that is just what I read. Millet also has low power 'tactical' DMS (http://www.midwayusa.com/eproductpage.exe/showproduct?saleitemid=186660) scope for$250 at Midway. I know neither of these meet your criteria of $100, but they sure aren't $600.

I agree with azredhawk44. If money is tight (which it is for nearly everyone), just save up, and wait a little longer and get yourself a quality red dot from EOTech, Aimpoint, Trijicon, or wherever. You may even be able to find some good condition used ones from the auction sites, the for sale sections of various forums, or wherever that may be had for less $.

I mean, especially if it isn't even really necessary for your needs. If you want one just to have that "look", then at least have a real optic on it...

What he said! I mean come on dude, give me a break. You are all up in arms because your seperately purchased upper and lowers are loose, which probably has no effect one accuracy, and now you want to put a cheap a$$ scope on that "loose" rifle. Believe you-me, a cheap scope will have much more effect on your accuracy than the looseness of your
Stag. Save up and get something nice. Sorry If you think that I'm breaking your balls but I'd hate to see you go spend $100-150 on something that your not going to like anyway.
