When I shoot my sig p6, sometimes my thumb would be on the slide release so that the last shot does not lock the slide open.
I got this habit from shooting my 1911 with my thumb on the safety.
I plan to use the sig for concealed carry. Holding the gun this way feels comfortable.
I was thinking of removing the serrated part of the release and maybe building up the grip so that the release does not stick out.
For CCW, how bad is this idea? Is 8 rounds reasonable enough for CCW?
I know, I can learn to hold it a different way or carry my 1911. Just wondering what you guys think.
