Whats the difference between the Sig P230SL and the p232SL in stainless steel? from what i can tell they look the same, are the same size, and shoot the same round...?

There is no real difference.

The P230 is an older version of the newer P232. Same grips and mags fit either and they have the same dimensions. The newer P232 comes in three versions; all alloy, alloy frame & stainless slide and an all stainless version. Night sights are also an option on the newer P232.

Hope that helps. Good shooting.

Oh i see. So does the P232 have an all stainless steel model like the P230SL or all have an aloy frame?

232s can be all stainless and I just happen to have one I desperately need to get rid of :)
