I finally did it and purchased the DW Bob-tail Comander 45. I'm very happy with this gun so far. The fit and finish are excellent and after a couple of range visits it is more accurate than I could ever be. I don't think I want to carry this gun due to its weight and size but maybe someday. There seems to be very little on this forum regarding DW semi's. It isn't a Bob-tail, but a PM7-S, the most accurate gun I've ever owned. Very nice.

Congrats on the new DW, they are really nicely made pistols. I bought this PM7 a bit over a month ago and it is a tack driver. The only thing I've done to it is change out the FLGR and plug for a GI type Ed Brown guide rod and plug.
