It usually takes me a a while to decide on a new acquisitions to add to my "family" :) if you know what I mean. I was just getting ready to purchase a Sako TRG 42 when, suddenly, I became aware of this little beauty.

There is something about the ascetics of this gun that really appeals to me. So far I have heard nothing but good things about it. So . . . I figure I gather some opinions from the firing line. It would most likely be a suppressed .300 Win Mag If were to add it to my collection. How do you all think this gun would stand up to a Sako TRG 42 in terms of accuracy and durability?

That is the best gun you can get for the money, and cant really think of one for more money. I got one. I love it. go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IdYG2kSITLE I have 6 videos. Dont skimp on the scope. A new Ar-30 will take you 6 months to get. There is a reason for the Delay. They are very very well made. You can get well under .5 moa out of that with the proper ammo. With the Muzzle brake, it will kick like a Ar-15 but punch holes through 6 inches of phonebook at 600 yards. I reccomend their one piece scope mount. Get some good earplugs, this sucker is 3 times louder than your average 300 Win. You will love your AR30, unless you have to carry it very far. it is heavy and not at all for offhand shooting. Forget it. I can hit beer cans at 700 yards with mine of a bench. havent had a problem with mine in about 1000 rounds. (thats all it has fired, so therefore I have never had a problem with it)
