I just bought a Glock 19 Yesterday. The gun shoots great with no problems in that area. I have noticed that after I clean it when I pull the slide back the recoil spring is making a squeeking sound as the spring compresses. I am not sure what is making this sound...any ideas? I am thinking about getting an all metal guide rod for it to maybe fix this problem. It doesnt impact the functionality of the gun its just an annoying sound. Please help me out as I dont have much experience with the Glock.

It's a normal Glock sound. Don't waste your money on a metal one. Use it for more ammo:)

That sound goes away in a few hundred rounds. Leave it on, it won't hurt.

Thanks for the help, I hope it goes away. It doesnt seem to hurt the cycling of the gun but it just annoys the hell out of me lol.
