Dose anyone out there own one of these Air Rifles? If so, tell me about it.
Is the Scope that comes with it any good?
Dose the noise damper really reduce the noise as advertised? 52%.
Will it shoot as fast as advertised?

See Ad: American Rifleman March 2008 p26.

Keep in mind velocity isnt everything with air rifles. Harsh firing behavior, so-so accuracy, and they picked the lightest pellet made to get that velocity figure. With a decent hunting pellet it'll be shooting in the 7-800 fps region.

Gamos are a little on the cheap side, IMHO. Look for a Beeman R-9 if you want a solid, reliable, long term air rifle. Spoil yourself.

I've got the Gamo 1000 fps model without the silencer, it's a great gun. It's made like a firearm, wood and steel. It's pretty accurate. I use it for rabbit and pigeon control in the 'hood.

The BSA scope is all right, it's worth about what you'll pay for it, which is essentially nothing. For serious shooting you're going to want a better scope.
