Just bought a CZ 82 9x18 Makarov
Anyone else like this gun. My findings are that it shoots very well, is comfortable to handle . Accurate and priced reasonable at $240. Any one aware of a Kydex holster that will fit this weapon??

Isn't there still sadly very few sources for suitable defense type 9x18? I used to have the CZ83 in .380 flavor- I ranked it right up there with the Bersa and Sig 232. Hmm, it's another one of those "I wonder why I got talked out of it" things.

I have one in .380 acp. Fits my hand rather well for a small pistol. It also seems like one of the softest shooting blowback .380 pistols on the market. I just wish someone could make some wood stocks that can hold up on them. Can't help you with the Kydex. Why not contact the factory.

I carry a CZ-82 everywhere I go and it is a wonderful piece. Perfect size, capacity and weight.

I bought mine about +one month ago. In fact, it is sitting by my computer now.

While mine is in .380 ACP, I would like to find a CZ 82 with the traditional trigger guard.

Lots of gun.

Traveler, I have one of those, two-tone satin nickel slide and blue frame.

Lovely gun, but it needs one thing...

I gave mine to my local 'smith for all-round de-horning. That thing had so many sharp edges I'm surprised anyone could use one without having a tetanus shot beforehand.

Cost $25, but now she's smooth and safe.

Make sure you use the plastic snapcaps that comes with a new CZ-83, or you risk breaking the firing pin by dry firing it!

Going against the flow on 9 X 18 Mak, I like the .380 for availability. I also like the looks of the CZ 82. So is changing the barrel to .380 an easy option on these?

.........you can get the round triggerguard and have it put on the CZ83 .380. I'm starting to lean towards that myself. Just not thrilled with the guard on mine but love the pistol.

I looked at an 83 for my son's (12yrs old at the time) first handgun last year, got him a Hi-Power instead. Now I'll get the 83 for me! I plan on ordering one from AIM tomorrow. They should have my C&R license by now.

How badly banged up was it?

BTW, I don't have a C&R license. But I have a buddy who has an FFL license here locally. I don't mind the 9x18 Makorov, I'm starting to see the round in many shops. I remember a Blazer round. Is it still manufactured?

Traveler, since you have a CZ-82, not a CZ-83, then you can forget about the need to de-horn. CZ-82 and older CZ-83s do not need this.

Mine came in good shape not much wear and shoots very well.Trigger pull is very smooth and quite easy for double action and SA is very nice. Prints 3/4 inch groups at 20 feet. I was very happy with it, bought it for carry because the last time I fired inside a house (.45) hurt my ears so bad I was almost out of the fight. Getting old.
So unless I really need the larger caliber I will not carry anything else cause it really is not good on my ears and I will take ear plugs.
Huh...whats that?? did someone say something??
Huh........oh no I gave a the office.....
