Hi Guys,
Just wondering if the CZ 75 or 75B in 9mm can handle a high round count. Any instances of frame cracking in the rails?

I'm in love with the ergonomics of the CZ75 and just placed one on order. Just needed to know what to expect.

Thanks in advance.

I've never heard anything bad about them. There was a guy on the old Shooters board who posted that he'd fired his old Model 75 a lot, including over 5,000 rounds of hot subgun ammo. The conversations back then - '99 or '00, including the one about why you should never use subgun ammo in pistols, convinced me to give the 75B a try. Of course, the fact that CZ was selling NIB guns from the Turkish military contract overrun with 2 15-rd. mags for less than $350 didn't hurt any.

I have two B models that are loaners. Each has well over 50K rounds. I have at least that many in one of my Pre-Bs. The only 75 that I know of that had any rail damage were the original short frame models.

Over on the CZ forum with cases like ranburr. Thus, I'd say that the CZ 75 is plenty robust.

I have 12k rounds through mine. Only change from new is the trigger got much better from new to ~ 1k. I've had 1ftf, and that was @ about 10k rnds, and i think it was ammo.

its my fav pistol. CZ-75D

Never had one fail. Of course, anything can fail, but CZs seem to me to be very well built and reliable.

It is VERY durable. A CZ frame is the last thing you should worry about.
