Mosin Nagant PU scope mount

So I have an old hex receiver low wall mosin, that has been bubba'ed. I got it years ago for a song. Last weekend, I found an old mosin PU mount and was wondering if all the PU snipers were round receivers? I bought the mount and cannot find a place where it could mount solidly on this receiver. My buddy has a PU repro, and I know his is a round receiver but he is out of town so I can't inspect it closer. Any thoughts?

Advanced Technologies has a bolt handle and a scope mount that I "think" will work also on the that reciever - it is easy to put on.

Please let us know if this works. I was looking to buy a mosin that had a hex receiver as well. Wanted to know if mounting a scope would be an issue. I would be using the ATI gear as well.
