question about the stevens rifles. i know they are made by savage and are more of a lower quality rifle, but do they use the same barrels and action as the savage rifles? is it possible to put a savage accu-trigger in a stevens rifle? what about a better stock later down the road? can you swap it with a stock from a savage rifle? this is the rifle i had in mind.

You'll want to spend some time at this site.
To answer your questions to the best of my ability:
I assume you are refering to the Stevens 200 vs the Savage 10/110.
No accutrigger in the stevens, it won't fit. Plenty of choices for aftermarket trigger though, under $100.
The 200 is the same action as the old 10/110. The stocks from these will fit.
Same action, and same barrels. The newer 10 and 110 Savage have a round front and flat rear at the scope base mounting points. The 200 has round front and back.

You can definantly swap stocks, I have a Stevens 200 in .223 and I had a wood stock off of a Savage 10 in .308. Fits like a glove!!Any short action stock should work. by the way, I am looking to sell the wood stock for $50 shipped.
