My new grips came in today from http://abc.eznettools.net/cgi-bin/ez-catalog/cat_display.cgi?25X300536 . I think these are some of my best pictures yet.

The new grips make this gun feel 100% better. They fit straight out of the box. I didn't have to do anything with them. They also came with a longer screw to fit the extra width. I was trying to use the factory screw until I figured out I was't suppose to lol. I can't wait to take it out to the range again. It's too bad I have to work this weekend.

I have a picture showing the thickness of the new grips if anyone is interested.

Nice grips and pictures, but the Smith and Wesson recreations look like hell. I've got an original Walther, baby!

Those are sharp. I think those ones that come all the way back to the back of the backstrap make the PPK/S models alot easier to shoot since it keeps the metal from pounding your hand so badly.

Yeah, just holding it I can tell it's going to feel a lot better. You can see how thick it makes the gun here:

It still doesn't look anywhere near as nice as your anniversary edition does Playboy, but it's a definite improvement. :D

When it come to pure beauty of form and function I think a stainless PPK or PPK/S can give any gun made a run for it's money. Especially with nice wood grips.

Playboy, is your serial number covered up on the left side of your anniversary edition? Someone mentioned this on another forum, my grips cover up the serial number. I don't think it will be an issue since the serial is still there, it's just not visible with the grips on. What do you think?

I kind of like it like that personally. I think the serial is very ugly looking and detracts from the appearance of the gun. It also makes your thumb more comfortable since it can rest on wood instead of rough stamped letters/numbers.

Yup, as you can see the serial is completely covered. That is not a problem at all since there are no laws about where the serial number on a gun has to be or whether it must be plainly visible. The ones on S&W revolvers are under the extraction rod portion of the yoke. The cylinder must be opened to see it.

Good to know, I didn't think it mattered or they wouldn't sell grips like that.
