Thats amazing......but what if the perp has a jacket on....any news on how deep it will go? How many volts out of xcuriosity....thats pretty nice. I wonder what one of them costs and what the deal is with charging it b4 shoting....

How long does the jolt last? How expensive are these things? I can see these being very useful in some hostage standoffs, where you only need to immobilize the suspects long enough for the team to go into play, but on a yard in full "disturbance" mode, hmm, maybe. Interesting. Definately for a Department with a BIG budget.

Didn't think to look, but betcha they ain't for sale to civvies...

I saw that a couple weeks ago. I think the jolt lasts 20 seconds IIRC. There's a bunch of long prongs. And it shocks them if they try to pull it out.
